Titchfield Park’s Centenary Celebration
Ashfield District Council are hosting the party of the year for Titchfield Park’s 100th birthday celebration on Saturday 18th June.
The Council are celebrating the landmark anniversary with a huge free fun day on Titchfield Park, Hucknall. There’s a variety of activities and entertainment lined up for the event which runs from 1pm – 6pm, including:
- Live music on the entertainment stage - from 1pm to 2pm singer Ollie Hayes, then from 2.15pm to 3pm the Torkard Ensemble Choir, The Jury Dogs will take to the stage from 3pm to 4.15pm and The Spitfires will close the event from 4.30pm – 6pm
- Giant garden games
- Small fun fair rides (small charge will apply)
- Stalls including Woofs & Wags, Smell Its, Hucknall Royal British Legion, the Hucknall Rotary Club, The Owl Wood Shed, Rias Stitchery, Hucknall Heritage Society, Hope Lea Project, Kids Corner, K&J Creations, Hucknall Tourism and Regeneration group, Watnall Road Baptist Church, and Feel Good Families
- Food stalls including Project D, Cook it up, Back-a-Yard-Cuisine, Blondie Brownie Bakes, Fig Tree, Sweet Spot Sweeties, and M&M’s Food Station
- Taster session from Titchfield Park Bowls Club
Cllr John Wilmott, Ward Councillor for Hucknall North, said:
“Titchfield Park is the jewel of Hucknall and this event is going to be a wonderful way to celebrate this landmark birthday. We can’t wait to see Titchfield Park packed out on Saturday. There will be something for everyone to enjoy so make sure you come down!”

“Titchfield Park has been at the heart of everything that is good about Hucknall for 100 years. The park has seen significant investment in recent years with new playparks, the war memorial restoration, and a flood maintenance scheme designed by Ashfield District Council. It is only right that we mark the anniversary with one big party. I can’t wait.”
