Storm Eunice, 18th February – Waste Service Update

We are aware the high winds forecast may cause some problems and we are putting measures in place to minimise disruption.

The wind is forecast to get progressively stronger from late morning.  Therefore the waste teams will be out early to complete their rounds before the exceptionally strong winds arrive. Your collection may take place earlier than normal so please ensure your bin is out at its normal collection point by 6:00am.

We recognise that despite our efforts, there are likely to be incidents where bins may be blown over.  If possible please place your bin in a sheltered location, such as close to buildings, hedges, or fences. The Environment team will be on standby for reports of waste spillage and can be contacted on 0800 1838484.
