Hucknall resident sentenced for breaching injunction order
A Hucknall resident who breached his Injunction Order has received a suspended sentence.
Justin Lamb of no fixed abode, breached his order when he was found at a property on Broomhill Road, Hucknall.
Lamb was issued with an Anti-social Behaviour Injunction Order in May 2019 for causing high level anti-social behaviour including intimidation, victimisation, threats and ongoing abuse towards others on the Broomhill Estate in Hucknall. The Injunction Order forbids Lamb from engaging in violence or making threats of violence and excludes him from entering or being on the Broomhill Estate for a period of two years until May 2021.
On Wednesday 18th November 2020, Nottinghamshire Police found Lamb at an address within the exclusion zone on Broomhill Road, Hucknall which led to his arrest.
Following his arrest, Ashfield District Council’s Community Safety Team pursued court action. Lamb attended Nottingham County Court where he received a 14 day suspended sentence, suspended for the duration of the order.
The Injunction Order will remain in place and the Councils Community Safety Team will continue to work closely with Nottinghamshire Police and provide hi-visibility patrols and reassurance to local residents within the area.

“Having been issued an Injunction Order for his extreme anti-social behaviour, this resident thought it was OK to breach his order. The Council take anti-social behaviour seriously and our Community Safety Team works hard to ensure that those wreaking havoc on our communities are dealt with.
“The Council does not tolerate anti-social behaviour and this should act as a warning to others who think it is ok to affect the lives of others in their community.”
