Director Remuneration and Management Costs - 2023 to 24
The Regulator of Social Housing’s Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard, requires all registered providers to provide tenants with accessible information about their directors’ remuneration (pay) and management costs (the costs for running housing services).
Their guidance sets out the formula they encourage landlords to use to make these calculations, to enable a consistent approach throughout the sector, for ease of comparison and so tenants can hold their landlord to account.
Please note that due to the make-up of the Council’s structure all Directors listed in these calculations may only spend part of their working time involved the management or delivery of services to our tenants and their inclusion in the calculation does not necessarily mean their salaries or other renumeration are paid from the Housing Revenues Account. The Housing Revenues Account is a separate account to the general day to day financial activities of the council (General Fund) and is funded through the collection of rent/tenancy charges, with the monies being ‘ring fenced’ for tenant services only.
Further information about the Council’s finances, including a detailed breakdown of how money from the Housing Revenue Account is spent and detailed pay information, can be found in the financial section of our website which includes our annual statement of accounts.
