Nominate now for the Discover Ashfield Awards
The hunt is on for the “shining stars” of Ashfield as nominations for this year’s Discover Ashfield awards have opened.
Recognising all that is good in Ashfield, the Discover Ashfield Awards celebrate residents and businesses that have gone above and beyond to support the community during the past year.
This year’s awards will have eight categories for people to nominate in, each designed to celebrate an individual or organisation’s outstanding achievements, including:
- Very Important Volunteer
- Brilliant Business
- Young Shining Star
- Outstanding Organisation
- Phenomenal Project
- Community Champion
- Super Hero
- Places to Visit
Nominations can be made via the Discover Ashfield webpage.
Cllr Jason Zadrozny, Leader of Ashfield District Council said:
“The awards are for everyone in Ashfield to put forward the people or organisation that they feel has gone the extra mile in the community. Last year, the awards ceremony was a huge success and this year will be bigger and better. I’m looking forward to congratulating this year’s shining stars from across Ashfield.”
