Exciting changes to our telephone system

Exciting changes are coming in for those who contact us via phone.

Instead of listening to various options we are moving to a voice recognition system. This means you can ask for a person, department or even state a reason in a clear voice using key words. 

For example, if you want to report a missed bin you would just say "missed bin" and this will go to the relevant person or if you know the person you wish to speak to, just say their name ONLY and this will go through to them or the section they work in. 

This will help direct calls to the correct departments allowing our Customer Services Team to continue to take queries that need a little more help!

This change is happening on Thursday 14 November and there should not be any disruptions to the system.
