Gaming machines
We provide licences for gaming machines such as one-armed bandits or fruit machines. They are usually found in amusement arcades, pubs, clubs and unlicensed family entertainment centres.
There are different categories of gaming machine depending on the stakes and prizes. Category A, B and C machines are for adults only, while category D machines have no age restrictions.

How much does it cost?
- For a licensing premises gaming machine automatic entitlement notification for up to 2 gaming machines the cost is £50
- for a licensed premises gaming machine permit to have more than 2 machines the cost is £150. Section 34 (Gaming Act 1968) holders are charged £100
- for a club machine permit or club gaming permit the cost is £200 for Members Clubs, and £100 for Commercial Clubs.
