Hucknall woman issued with Injunction Order
A Hucknall woman has been issued with an Injunction Order for her continued anti-social behaviour on the Welbeck Estate.
Chantelle Archer persistently caused anti-social behaviour within part of the Welbeck Estate in Hucknall. Her behaviour included targeting vulnerable residents in the area, and disturbing residents by causing a noise nuisance in several properties in the area as well as on the streets.
Her continued behaviour resulted in Ashfield District Council’s Community Safety team taking action and applying to the courts to make a request for an Injunction Order.
Archer was issued with the Injunction Order at Nottingham County Court on 12th January, which will prevent her from entering or remaining on part of the Welbeck estate in Hucknall. Including Lilac Road, Cedar Grove, Cherry Avenue, Johnson Avenue, Laburnum Grove, Larch Close and Holly Close.
The Injunction Order is in place until 11th January 2022 and should Archer breach the Injunction Order she may be arrested.
Cllr Helen-Ann Smith, Cabinet Member for Community Safety said:
“The Council is committed to tackling anti-social behaviour and this should act as a warning to those that think it is ok to cause a nuisance in our communities. We will not tolerate individuals impacting the lives of others in this way.
“If local residents witness Chantelle Archer breaching her order they should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101. The Community Safety Team will continue to work closely with Nottinghamshire Police to provide hi-visibility patrols and reassurance to local residents, as part of our District wide clamp down on anti-social behaviour.”
