COVID-19 Vaccination in Nottinghamshire
In line with expert guidance, the first priority for vaccination is care home residents and staff, people over the age of 80 and frontline health and care workers.
In the next few weeks, those aged over 70 and those who are classed as clinically extremely vulnerable will be invited to book their vaccination. Please find the latest information online.
Health bosses have asked the public to wait until they have received their letter before contacting the NHS, their GP or local hospital hub – the letter will have full details of how to make an appointment.
Do not call your GP or turn up at A&E or your doctor’s surgery – the only way to get an appointment and the jab is to follow the instructions in the letter. Please note the phone lines may be busy and the quickest and easiest way to book an appointment is online.
The NHS understand a lot of people want to be vaccinated and they would like to reassure you this will happen. Please be patient and wait to be contacted.
For further information on why you are being asked to wait for your Covid-19 vaccine can be found on the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG website.
